Some necessary definitions
What does the term « SEER » mean on A/C devices
The term SEER stands for SeasonalEnergyEfficiency Ratio. In French, you can find the abbreviation TRÉS on the devices which also means Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio.
The SEER is actually an energy efficiency ratio that each unit is rated according to their performance. In other words, the higher the SEER, the less energy the unit will consume. Now, it is important to understand that SEER is only a measurement for « cooling » and is not applicable for heat pump heating data.
Do you know our Zephyr devices?
First of all, Zephyr is a local and competitive brand that offers versatile devices at affordable prices. Zephyr products also meet the quality criteria required in Quebec. Zephyr also offers various heat pump models with different attributes. For example, some heat pumps can reach a SEER rating of 23, which means high energy efficiency. During the summer season, these heat pumps have the ability to cool down to -18°C. In addition, they can heat in temperatures as low as -25°C, which is very useful to get through the Quebec winters.
In order to meet the needs of a greater number of Canadians, the brand also offers products with a SEER of up to 18 with inverter. This technology makes it possible to maintain a comfortable ambient temperature in the home. The inverter or the inverter air conditioner allows to intelligently regulate the frequency of rotation according to the variations of the temperature. This way, the room temperature remains more stable in the house.
Here are some of the key features of Zephyr heat pumps that allow users to use them instinctively:
- Quick start and integrated timer
- Sleep mode
- Silent mode
- 7 interior fan speeds
- Smart function
- Automatic cleaning
- Mode I FEEL
In addition, Zephyr products are guaranteed for 10 years!
*I FEEL » mode: This mode allows the unit to be automatically programmed to the optimal temperature. With this mode of operation, it is possible to set the optimal condition for the room using a single control.
